Atlantic, is seeking $150 million for its debut private equity fund, according to three people familiar with the situation…Marc McMorris and Madden founded the firm this year. McMorris was a managing director at General Atlantic from 1999 until the beginning of last year. He has led or co-led more than $900 million of investments in business services, financial services and software, according to the firm’s website.

Madden was previously founder and chief executive of Exult Inc., a human resources business processing company. The two have worked together over the years, as Exalt was a General Atlantic portfolio company…”
